Your Appointment

Aftercare

Arrive with clean skin and minimal makeup if possible.

Avoid alcohol and blood-thinning supplements for 24 hours prior when possible.

Drink plenty of water, eat a full meal, and get plenty of rest before your appointment.

A small blood sample is drawn and processed to isolate platelet-rich plasma.

Your provider will apply a numbing agent to the injected area.

PRP is carefully injected beneath the eyes using precise technique.

Treatment typically takes 45 minutes.

There is minimal downtime after your service. Follow these guidelines to make sure your healing progresses well and you have optimal outcome.

For at least eight hours do not touch, rub, or massage the injection site.

Avoid applying ice or heat at the site for 48 hours after your injection.

Do not apply lotions, oils, or makeup to the injection until 24 hours after treatment.

Avoid strenuous activities and exercise immediately after and for 24 hours.

Do not smoke or consume alcohol for at least three days post-procedure. Both of these can impede the healing process and smoking may reduce the effectiveness of the treatment.

Stay hydrated and eat healthy, nourishing meals.

You may experience tenderness, swelling, and redness at the injection site after your treatment. You may even experience bruising. These symptoms could persist for 7-10 days post-procedure.

How long does under-eye PRP last?

Results vary by individual, but many clients notice improvement for several months as collagen production continues. Many clients choose maintenance treatments every 6–12 months to preserve results.

When will I see results?

Some results may be visible within a few weeks, with continued enhancement over the following months as the skin renews naturally.

Is it safe?

Yes. Because PRP uses your own blood components, it is considered a safe and well-tolerated treatment when performed by trained medical professionals.

Does it hurt?

Most clients describe the treatment as very tolerable. Numbing agents may be used to improve comfort during the procedure.
