Chemical peels work with your skin’s natural renewal cycle. At OVME, treatments are customized and spaced appropriately to allow skin to heal, renew, and improve gradually while maintaining long-term skin health.

Aftercare
Avoid waxing, depilatories, laser hair removal, and exfoliating treatments for 1 week before.
Avoid retinoids, AHAs, BHAs, benzoyl peroxide, and exfoliating products 3 days prior.
Avoid sun exposure and tanning for 1 week before treatment.
Do not arrive with sunburn, irritation, or open skin.
Inform your provider if you:
· Have a history of cold sores.
· Are pregnant or breastfeeding.
· Have used Accutane within the past year.
· Have autoimmune conditions or impaired healing.
Your skin will be cleansed and prepped to ensure even peel penetration.
The peel solution is applied in layers and left on the skin.
You may feel warmth, tingling, or mild burning during application.
Treatment takes less than 30 minutes.
First 24 Hours:
· Do not wash your face until the evening or next morning (as instructed). The peels self-neutralize in 4-6 hours.
· Avoid sweating, heat, and sun exposure.
· Do not apply products unless directed.
Days 2–7:
· Peeling usually begins 48–72 hours after treatment.
· Use a gentle cleanser and moisturizer as directed.
· Apply broad-spectrum SPF daily.
· Avoid heat, intense workouts, saunas, and direct sun.
· Do not pick, peel, scrub, or exfoliate shedding skin.
· Makeup may typically be worn after 24 hours if skin is comfortable.
· Normal Healing Responses.
Depending on the peel Level, you may experience:
· Redness and tightness.
· Flaking or visible peeling (Level 2 & 3).
· Mild itching or dryness.
· Temporary darkening of pigment before improvement.
